Her Majesty...

Ive always had a total fascination with predators...going back to childhood watching Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom. Not necessarily the fact that they kill what they eat, its more of the tenants that they live by. All of the patience and perseverance that comes with their way of life. The same things that for me have made me a better artist and person. The golden eagle has a very special place in my heart right next to the big cats...weirdly Im not a cat person, except starting from a bobcat and up. :) Why the eagle? Im a raptor fan. Im crazy about birds of prey. The design, the functionality and the tools which make them experts in a game of checks and balances...the circle of life. I have been very lucky to meet some great eagle experts. People who share the same love for the animal. People who fly and hunt these incredible creatures in the sport of falconry. Master eagle hunters from Mongolia and Kazakhstan who hunt the hard steppes of Asia. The more I learn the more I love them...a never ending cycle. Its probably a good thing that velociraptors are exctinct, I would probably be missing a hand and have some better scars to show. To me Raptors Rule!

One of my favorite things to draw or paint is wildlife. I think wildlife is a great teacher. Nothing is better to help one become a creature designer than the everyday animals we see and are even very familiar with. From insects to fish to mammals enjoy and study everyone of them. Concept for a game that went the way of the DODO bird... too bad because it was freaking fun!!! So many good games never get to get out n the publics hands ...so sad..
